For a well-known company in the defense sector in Bremen, we are looking for a full-time Propulsion Subsystem & Test Engineer (m/f/d) with immediate effect.

Materials & Processes Engineer (m/f/d)

Standort: Bremen Anstellungsart(en): Vollzeit Arbeitszeit: 39 - 40 Stunden pro Woche

Aufgaben, Kompetenzen und Verantwortung

• Support space projects in the development and testing of propulsion systems, from the proposal phase to refueling. Involvement in studies for propulsion systems for new satellite projects
• Creating procedures and plans, as well as designing and carrying out liquid, gas and electrical function tests on the propulsion system of a satellite or on equipment or test/demonstrator models
• Developing new test methods and contributing to the further development of current methods
• Automation of tests
• Specifying, procuring, assembling and maintaining test equipment
• Filling, pressurizing, emptying and drying drive systems or sub-assemblies
• Supervising and overseeing system tests in the test center or at the launch site
• Supporting subsystem engineering with test expertise

Fachliche Anforderungen

• Completed studies in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar or training as a technician, e.g. aircraft mechanic
• Ideally experience in the field of AIT, especially testing of aerospace propulsion systems
• Familiarity with the laws of physics in hydraulic and pneumatic systems in both stationary and dynamic applications
• Programming skills are an advantage
• Communicative, team player, careful, flexible
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility
• Effective and independent way of working
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
